CDL Bus Operator with Passenger Endorsement Training Program

  • Student Trainees will be paid $14.00/hour

  • The overall program consists of classroom, hands-on driving and online practice training.

CDL Class - C with Passenger Endorsement Bus Operator
  • Starting pay is $16.50 per hour

    • With CDL Class C + P Endorsement and 1+ Year of Experience

  • Starting pay is $15.05 per hour 

    • With CDL Class C + P Endorsement and -1 Year of Experience

  • The CDL – C Bus Operator drives a 20-passenger vehicle and collects fares/tickets.

 

 

 

General Student Trainee and Bus Operator Requirements:

  • Must be able to work various shifts including evenings and weekends

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Minimum 21 years of age 

  • Must pass a background check, drug screen, and Physical Capacity Profile.

  • Must obtain a Kansas Department of Transportation, (KDOT), Medical Examiner’s Certificate prior to beginning the program, and retain for duration of employment

  • Must have a clean MVR for the past 3 years

 
 
 
Sign on bonus - $2000:
  • Paid for full-time hires who have a CDL and P Endorsement.

  • Half is paid on the first paycheck (within 30 days of employment).

  • Remaining half is paid after 1 year of satisfactory performance.

  • Must remain employed for 6 months or the employee will pay back the initial payment in an amount based on the number of months worked.
